The Associació d’Escriptors en Llengua Catalana (Association of Catalan Language Writers) is the professional body that brings together authors, poets, scriptwriters, translators and other writers in the Catalan language. One of the main objectives of EFTA is “to defend the collective interests of the various professional fields as well as to public cultural organizations and other cultural institutions”.
