Rappin’ for Jesus – Church Video Fails – ‘Jesus Christ is my Nigga’

May 4, 2014 by pfeifer

Given the rapid decline of young people interested in church or formal religious services, I understand why some ministers would look for creative ways to keep church youth interested in the program.

Here’s a tip: rapping for Jesus is not the way for a white middle-aged pastor to reach young people. At least not in the way he had in mind.

And if you insist on making a desperate attempt to connect with young people by making yourself look like a fool, at least please leave out lines like “Jesus Christ is my nigga.'”

Major Updates Coming Soon

As anyone who used to read this site has noticed, it has been completely inactive for a year now and significantly inactive longer than that. I’ve been busy, and this site simply slipped in importance compared to the other things I had to do. However, we are happy to announce that we are in the […]

Yellowstone/Grand Teton Review, Day 10 – Jackson, Snow King Lodge, Jackson Town Square, 4th of July Parade, Snow King Mini-Golf, Town Square Shootout, Jackson Hole Rodeo and Fireworks

Our first night sleeping at Snow King Lodge was great. Although I stayed up late as always, I fell asleep quickly in the big comfortable bed. Out of the entire trip, the beds and pillows at Snow King Lodge were the best. I probably could have slept through the entire morning had I not been […]

Breakfast buffet at Alpenhof Lodge in Teton Village

Breakfast buffet at Alpenhof Lodge in Teton Village On the first morning of our Wyoming vacation we ate at the breakfast buffet at Alpenhof Lodge. This was a complimentary breakfast as a result of Hotwire selling us a room reservation at Alpenhof Lodge when they did not actually have any vacancies. You can read more […]

Ignore this post, we are just kicking the tires of the design

Image via Wikipedia This is a test post to kick the tires of our new website, which is still under development.  We are working on the design to implement graphics, video, images, and advertisements (we gotta pay for it somehow). Once it is completed, we hope to be informative, controversial, sometimes offensive, occasionally funny, and […]

Word of the Day: snarky – because I was called that today on the bar association website

Image via Wikipedia Word of the Day: snarky – because I was called that this morning Today’s word of the day, which happens to be the first word of the day for this website (cut us some slack, we’re new), is “snarky.”  This word was selected because I was called “snarky to the max” just […]

Yellowstone/Grand Teton Review, Day 8 – Signal Mountain Lodge, Colter Bay Village, Ranchhouse Restaurant, Jackson Lake, Donoho Point, Elk Island

After a night of deep sleep at Signal Mountain Lodge, I awoke early and enjoyed the quiet of the morning. While it is fairly easy to hear through the walls, everyone was either sleeping or trying to be polite. I went to get coffee from the barista at their general store, which was about the […]

Wyoming Vacation in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks

Last year (2016) we took a family vacation to Wyoming to visit Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park. I meant to post information about the trip online a long time ago, but I’ve been very busy with other matters that kept me away from this website. While I plan to continue writing on […]
